It also includes Aldar Projects responsible for management of fee-based development management businesses, Aldar Ventures which develops new business opportunities as well as Aldar Egypt working on development of mix-use projects in Egypt.
Aldar Investment houses core asset management business, as well as manages Aldar Education, Estates, Hospitality and Leisure. Aldar Education includes Aldar Academies with 20 schools, 3,000 educators and over 26,000 students. Aldar Properties’ portfolio includes 11 hotels including Crowne Plaza Yas Island, Radisson Blu, Hala Arjaan by Rotana, golf courses such as Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and Yas Links Abu Dhabi, malls and retail communities including Yas Mall, World Trade Center and Saadiyat Grove, beach clubs, marinas, etc.
Aldar has shown a strong financial performance for several years. According to Q1 2022, the revenue of the company has increased by 50% in comparison to Q1 2021 from AED 1.19B to AED 1.78B. The UAE sales in Q1 2022 has grown by 39% since the same period of the previous year to AED 1.5B, which means that it’s the seventh consecutive quarter in which the company has exceeded AED 1B in sales.
